AI Deployment Acceleration Program

One methodology. Two infrastructure paths.

From first intake to operational handoff — GridSite delivers a repeatable, structured program whether your buyer deploys into a qualified external environment or launches in a turnkey hosted environment at the GridSite campus. Deployment acceleration with a hosted path included.

The Downstream Deployment Problem

Great hardware still has to get deployed.

AI hardware companies have made extraordinary advances in silicon, systems architecture, and model performance. But the path from a successful technical evaluation to a production-ready deployment environment involves a set of challenges that are largely outside the vendor's core competency — and directly downstream of the sale.

Vendors excel at

  • Technical product development and benchmarking
  • Sales cycles and customer technical evaluations
  • Software integration and platform support
  • Account relationships and post-sale success

Where deployment friction emerges

  • Identifying an appropriate deployment environment
  • Validating power and cooling compatibility
  • Coordinating site readiness and connectivity
  • Managing implementation workflows at scale
  • Operationalizing the infrastructure post-deployment

Site Selection Friction

Customers often lack the internal infrastructure expertise to evaluate whether a target environment is physically appropriate for the hardware profile — leading to delayed or mismatched deployments.

Power and Cooling Uncertainty

High-density AI hardware has specific power draw and cooling requirements that may not be validated until late in the procurement cycle, creating costly remediation or last-minute rescoping.

Connectivity and Readiness Gaps

Network architecture, remote hands availability, and physical access requirements are often underspecified during presales — leaving implementation teams to resolve readiness issues after arrival.

Day-2 Operational Burden

Once hardware is deployed, customers frequently lack structured operational processes for monitoring, incident escalation, and infrastructure management — creating support risk for vendors post-delivery.

AI Deployment Acceleration Program

A structured five-stage framework — engage any stage or the full program.

The GridSite AI Deployment Acceleration Program gives vendors a repeatable, standardized deployment model they can route customer opportunities through — end-to-end or plugged in at the stages where support is needed most.

Site marketplace

We don't just evaluate sites — we find them. GridSite maintains a marketplace of pre-vetted deployment environments ready to match.

Data rooms, colocation cages, private suites, and dedicated facilities — already assessed for power density, cooling, and connectivity.

01

Deployment Intake

A structured intake captures the full deployment profile — hardware specs, workload type, geographic requirements, and timeline — before any site evaluation begins. This is the foundation that prevents mid-deployment misalignment.

02

Site Finding & Qualification

GridSite maintains a marketplace of pre-vetted environments and matches the hardware profile against our network — or qualifies a site the customer has already identified. Power density, cooling, connectivity, and physical access are all evaluated.

03

Readiness Validation

A formal readiness assessment validates the selected environment against actual hardware requirements. The output is a documented readiness report that informs the implementation plan before any hardware ships to site.

04

Execution Support

We support the implementation workflow — rack, stack, cabling, coordination, and structured escalation paths. As much or as little hands-on involvement as the situation requires, with clear task sequencing and stakeholder alignment.

05

Operations Handoff

Deployment concludes with a structured operational handoff — monitoring setup, runbooks, escalation paths, and defined support structure. Optional ongoing managed operations for customers requiring day-2 infrastructure management.

Five-Stage Methodology

A disciplined operating methodology — engage any stage or the full program.

Every engagement follows the same structured process, calibrated to the hardware profile and deployment environment. The methodology is consistent and repeatable — the scope of involvement is defined by what the vendor and customer actually need, not a fixed service package.

01

Deployment Intake

Every structured deployment begins with a complete intake. We capture the technical, operational, and geographic requirements before any site evaluation begins — avoiding the misalignment that typically surfaces mid-deployment when requirements are assumed rather than documented.

  • Hardware profile and rack specifications
  • Workload type — inference, training, or hybrid
  • Geographic and jurisdictional requirements
  • Power, cooling, and connectivity assumptions
  • Timeline, operating model, and staffing expectations
02

Site Finding & Qualification

GridSite maintains a marketplace of pre-vetted deployment environments — we find and match the right site, not just evaluate one the customer already selected. We evaluate candidate environments against the deployment profile, considering power availability, cooling capacity, network architecture, and physical access requirements.

  • Enterprise data room or on-premises environment
  • Colocation footprint with appropriate power density
  • Private suite or dedicated cage
  • Regional inference site for low-latency requirements
  • Customer-provided site evaluation and qualification report
03

Readiness Validation

A formal readiness assessment validates the selected environment against every deployment assumption. The output is a documented readiness report that informs the implementation plan and surfaces any remediation requirements before the hardware ships.

  • Power circuit capacity and panel availability
  • Cooling infrastructure and thermal envelope
  • Network architecture and uplink requirements
  • Physical access, staging space, and remote hands
  • Site documentation and existing infrastructure review
04

Execution Support

GridSite supports the implementation workflow directly — reducing the coordination burden on vendor teams and ensuring the customer site is properly prepared before, during, and after installation. Structured escalation paths keep deployments on track and on schedule.

  • Deployment coordination and stakeholder alignment
  • Staging logistics and pre-installation preparation
  • Implementation workflow and task sequencing
  • Issue escalation structure and resolution tracking
  • Vendor team interface and communication protocols
05

Operations Handoff

Deployment is complete when the customer is operational — not just when the hardware is racked. We deliver a structured operational handoff that includes monitoring, runbooks, and clear support paths, so the environment runs reliably from day one.

  • Infrastructure monitoring setup and alerting
  • Operational runbooks and escalation documentation
  • Ongoing infrastructure management support
  • Structured handoff package and knowledge transfer
  • Optional managed operations engagement

Why This Structure Works for Vendors

The program is built around how AI hardware vendors actually operate.

The five-stage structure is not arbitrary — it maps directly to where deployment friction typically emerges downstream of the hardware sale. Each stage is designed to remove a specific category of operational risk before it becomes a customer problem.

Preserves vendor focus on hardware and sales

Deployment execution and site coordination are operationally intensive and require specialized infrastructure expertise. Routing these activities through a structured program keeps your team focused on technical selling, account relationships, and product development.

Reduces post-sale friction

Most deployment problems are not hardware problems — they are environment, coordination, and readiness problems. A structured intake and validation process surfaces these issues before hardware ships, not after it arrives on-site.

Provides a predictable deployment path

When deployment follows a documented, repeatable methodology, outcomes are more consistent, handoffs are cleaner, and post-deployment support burden decreases. Predictable deployment paths also make it easier to set accurate customer expectations at point of sale.

Creates a cleaner handoff to customer operations

Deployments that conclude with structured runbooks, monitoring configuration, and defined escalation paths require less reactive support intervention from vendor teams — freeing them for the next opportunity rather than the previous deployment.

Hosted launch path

Two infrastructure paths, one methodology.

The intake, qualification, readiness, implementation, and handoff model remains consistent whether the buyer deploys into a customer-dedicated environment, a qualified third-party site, or a hosted environment at the GridSite campus. For customers who do not want to source and stand up a site themselves, GridSite can support a hosted deployment environment designed around the hardware profile — at our microgrid-powered AI/HPC campus in southern Oklahoma, positioned less than 4 ms from Dallas.

Launch-to-scale flexibility. Some customers may start hosted, then later expand into a dedicated or long-term footprint using the same methodology. GridSite supports the full arc — hosted pilot to production-scale dedicated deployment — without changing the engagement structure.
